Summary
SummaryIβm Kay Warren, and Iβve walked through the unimaginable pain of losing my son Matthew to suicide on April 5, 2013. For twenty years, I watched him battle crippling depression and mental illness. When he died, our familyβs world shattered, and Motherβs Day became a crushing reminder of what we lost. Iβve learned that grief is not something to hideβitβs something God sees. He knows every jagged edge of my sorrow, and He promises comfort and the hope of beauty from ashes. Even when others canβt understand, God is there. On this coming Motherβs Day, if you feel like you canβt breathe, call our prayer line at 1-866-273-4444 or visit kaywarren.com/breathe for support. God brings light into our darkness, and even in the ruins, He is working to restore us. ππβ¨
