SummaryI’m Tanisha, and all my life I’d recited prayers and attended a Christian school, yet deep inside I felt rejected, lonely, and anxious 😔. Nothing—friends, family, or good grades—filled the emptiness. In college at Howard University, I finally stepped into “Chosen,” a campus fellowship, and reluctantly attended a conference alone. On that bus, I penned down what I longed for: love, purpose, identity ✍️. When the speaker challenged us to put God to the test, I cried out, confessing my sins and surrendering my heart. I realized I’d been quenching the Holy Spirit, living for the world instead of running to Him. As I wept, He filled me with His warmth and joy, and I forgave my family, took up my cross, and committed to live for Jesus. Now every day I’m growing in love, praying for others, and discovering my true worth in Christ 🙌🏻🔥.
