SummaryI grew up chasing my own pleasuresβ€”sex, marijuana, cocaine, even selling drugs to friends. My faith was just for show, based on image and what others thought of me. It wasn’t until David, a devoted brother, confronted my heart that I realized Christ wasn’t an accessory to my middle-class life but the center of it. After months of Bible study, I humbled myself, repented, and was baptized on March 11, 1995, with my wife Gina and our growing family by our side. Now, 27 years later, I’ve found true joy in serving God, a faithful marriage, and raising children who know the love of Christ.

Stephen found satisfaction in drinking, drugs, and women.

He would attempt to clean up his own life at times, but even then he admits it was only to improve his own image and what others thought of him.

After being married he found himself living a hypocritical life as a church attendee.

It wasn’t until a disciple committed himself to Stephen’s salvation that he truly understood what it was too have a relationship with Christ, and eventually lead Stephen to give his life to Jesus.
