Locked away in juvenile detention in Des Moines, I felt more lost than ever, until a call to Teen Challenge opened the door to real care and discipline. My battles with the needle cost me my marriage, my honor, and nearly my life, but Psalm 34:19 reminded me that God draws near to the brokenhearted. As Christ’s love broke through my despair, I found forgiveness, purpose, and joy bubbling up in my heart again 😊🙏. Today, I’m living proof that no addiction is too strong, and I’m determined to help others find the same hope and freedom I received.
