Summary

I’m Jess. Last year I spiraled into a four-month depression after enduring emotional and sexual abuse in a toxic relationship. In August, I stepped into an Ellel Ministries prayer session and heard God’s voice say, β€œHe is not good for youβ€”let him go.” With courage, I broke free, but the depression deepened. Facing suicidal thoughts, God intervened through a believer-doctor’s encouragement and later spoke Rhema words of healing over my wounded soul. As I stood on verses like 1 Peter 5:6-11 and Psalm 46, His Spirit bound my brokenness, lifted my despair, and restored genuine joy. Now depression-free, I share the hope Jesus gave me and pray you’ll hear His voice too. πŸ™πŸ•ŠοΈβœ¨
