I am Pastor Kerry Sharp. On October 26, 2019, my life changed forever when two police officers came to my home to inform me that my 28-year-old son had been killed in a fiery automobile accident. The pain was unbearable, and I struggled with anger towards God and deep grief. I knew I had to lean on my faith and the disciplines I had learned to navigate through this tragedy. With the support of friends, family, and my church community, I found strength to continue preaching and serving the Lord. My son’s death taught me the power of faith and the importance of maintaining strong relationships and worship, even in the darkest times.
