SummaryI’m Vian, a 35-year-old social worker from Alqosh, and I’ve seen firsthand the deep wounds left by the 2014 Islamic State invasion. 😢 I realized God was calling me to stand with my people, to listen and bring His healing through trauma care. ✝️ Now I’m in a two-year counselling course with our local partners, learning to guide others out of sorrow and restore hope. 🙌 I believe God will use these skills so we can rebuild our community and walk in faith together. 🌱

Thanks to your prayers and support, Vian is taking part in a counselling course to help more people who have experienced trauma after the 2014 invasion of Iraq by so-called Islamic State.
