Summary
SummaryIβm Jade, and Iβve wrestled with why God allows suffering and persecution for His children. While serving in Norway, a young believer asked why Christians in other nations face trials I never experienced at home. I believe persecution refines our faith and fulfills Christβs warnings in John 15β16. My own fiancΓ©, once a pastor, was martyred inside his church for refusing to renounce Jesus and stop ministering to Muslims. Through his death, God deepened my prayer life and commitment to His mission. I also recall an Iranian brother, imprisoned and killed for his faith, who likened Christians to rubber ballsβthrown harder but rebounding higher. Despite grief, Godβs glory shines brightest through our suffering, molding us and revealing His honor. πβ¨
