Summary

SummaryI’m Jade, and I’ve wrestled with why God allows suffering and persecution for His children. While serving in Norway, a young believer asked why Christians in other nations face trials I never experienced at home. I believe persecution refines our faith and fulfills Christ’s warnings in John 15–16. My own fiancΓ©, once a pastor, was martyred inside his church for refusing to renounce Jesus and stop ministering to Muslims. Through his death, God deepened my prayer life and commitment to His mission. I also recall an Iranian brother, imprisoned and killed for his faith, who likened Christians to rubber ballsβ€”thrown harder but rebounding higher. Despite grief, God’s glory shines brightest through our suffering, molding us and revealing His honor. πŸ™βœ¨
