SummaryI’m Mike, raised in Camden, New Jersey, baptized as a child but soon chased sin—dropping out, joining gangs, selling drugs, and landing multiple charges 😔. At 20, my brother urged me into the Marines, hoping I’d outrun my past, but sin lived inside me. I married impulsively for extra pay, only to return from Afghanistan to a broken union and his death in service 💔. Prescribed Opana by the VA, I sank into addiction, depression, and even begged God to end my life. Then, in my darkest hour, I surrendered everything to Jesus 🙌. Two days later, an old Marine brother called, and I followed God’s strange “rescue” to Texas. Since then, He’s carried me through ups and downs—restoring my identity, reuniting my family, moving my parents across states, and giving me a new purpose in street ministry and podcasting. God’s grace proved stronger than my sin, and He continues to walk me through every step 😊.
