I grew up a devout Shiite in Detroit, convinced Islam held all truth. As an undergrad in Ann Arbor, I argued with door-to-door Christians until they won credibility by researching my toughest questions πŸ€”. Grabbing a Gideon Bible off the street, I looked for contradictionsβ€”but instead found John the Baptist’s warning against relying on ethnic or religious tradition. My confirmation bias shattered when Romans 5:8 revealed Christ’s self-sacrifice as the supreme love ❀️. In that moment, I chose truth over tradition and surrendered my life to Jesus πŸ™Œ.
