Summary
SummaryI grew up without the grounding of faithβmy parents werenβt saved, so I turned to the world and its distractions to cope. By age 21 I accepted Christ, but my own choices drew me away, and I battled addiction after addiction. In 2022 my family and I found Church on the Rock, and the hands-on teaching finally showed me how to apply Godβs Word. Serving in Celebrate Recovery opened my eyes: I needed the program itself, not just to volunteer. Working the steps broke my hurts, hang-ups, and habits. Five years ago I never imagined Iβd feel this freeβimpacting others, building friendships, and walking in Godβs impossible breakthroughs. πβ¨
Stephany had a rough upbringing and turned to the world to cope. It wasn’t until her adulthood that she was saved and found her identity and purpose in Christ. While serving at Celebrate Recovery, she not only helped others, but she also found freedom from her own hurts, hang-ups, and habits. Watch her story to be encouraged by what God can do in your life!
