Summary

SummaryI’m Seth Oswald, and I grew up in a Christian home but drifted into rebellionβ€”marijuana in eighth grade, then oxycontin, and finally heroin. I bounced in and out of detox, lost my family’s trust, even lived under a bridge facing prison time and suicide. My turning point came in January when my mom and friend guided me to a Salvation Army rehab in Toledo. During a chapel worship, God’s presence overwhelmed meβ€”nothing compared to any drug high. That day I said yes to Jesus. I stayed sober for a year, rebuilt my relationships, interned in student ministries, and now coach others in recovery. Without Him, I’d still be lost. πŸ™βœ¨

“I felt a high that I’d never before, nothing that any drug has ever given me. It was like a light just clicked on… that day I said yes to Jesus, and ever since then, my life has changed.” -Seth
