Summary

Summaryβ€œI’m Qi Ming, leader of a house church in China. We gathered with fellow believers to worship and share the Gospel openly, but the government labeled us a threat. πŸ˜” One night, they launched a massive raidβ€”over a hundred brothers and sisters were arrested. I knew I might be next. 😨

My wife and I packed all our belongings and destroyed sensitive church documents in the middle of the night. Before dawn, we slipped out of our neighborhood, got to the highway, and headed for the airport. As we drove, our hearts were full of prayer: β€˜Lord, this might be my last meal with my family. If You call me home, that is Your will. But if You protect us, let me see my children grow up in Your grace.’ πŸ™

By God’s mercy, we reached the airport undetected. Standing there, I felt His presence guarding us. I realized that persecution hadn’t weakened our churchβ€”instead, it fortified our faith. Now, we pray not only for our own safety but also for brothers and sisters elsewhere who face similar pressure. Through Open Doors Canada, resources and support are reaching persecuted believers. ❀️

I learned that true faith shines brightest in the darkest moments: trusting God when the path is unclear and believing in His deliverance despite overwhelming odds. Today, I share my story so you know that God is with us every step of the way and that no weapon formed against His children will prevail.” ✝️

STRENGTHENING CHRISTIANS WHERE FAITH COSTS THE MOST Learn more about persecuted Christians at https://www.opendoorscanada.org Contact us at opendoors@odcan.org Our Purpose is to strengthen and equip the Body of Christ living under or facing restriction and persecution because of their faith in Jesus Christ, and to encourage their involvement in world evangelism by: - Providing Bibles and literature, media, leadership training, socio-economic development and intercessory prayer; - Preparing the Body of Christ living in threatened or unstable areas to face persecution and suffering, and; - Educating and mobilizing the Body of Christ living in the free world to identify with threatened and persecuted Christians and to be actively involved in assisting them. We do so because we believe that when one member suffers, all members suffer with it (1 Corinthians 12:26), that all doors are open and that God enables His Body to go into all the world and preach the Gospel.
