Summary
SummaryI was lost in the grip of crack addiction and even gambled away my sanity 🎲💔. Night after night, I lay awake praying for death, convinced there was no escape. Yet God’s hand protected me—missing bullets, narrow escapes, and unanswered pleas to end my life. In 1993, He sent LaShonda, my future wife, whose love outweighed the allure of drugs. By Mother’s Day 2003, the Lord reached me in the pew, and I surrendered everything at the altar 🙌🏼. He dusted me off, gave me purpose, and transformed this former addict into a servant and pastor. Today, I lead Living with Hope Christian Center in St. Charles, Missouri, sharing the same message of redemption that rescued me. Glory to God!
Courtney Jefferson, pastor of Living with Hope Christian Center talks about how he found God’s sentence.
