SummaryI grew up in Des Moines feeling unwanted, slid into drugs, meth, and gambling, and landed in jail facing 12 years. In a dark cell I surrendered to Jesus, found peace in Scripture, entered treatment, and joined Celebrate Recovery. Today I’m a minister at Lutheran Church of Hope, leading others to the freedom God gave me.

Melissa used to deal drugs to stay high or to pay for her gambling habit. Now clean, she shares her story of freedom and oversees Celebrate Recovery in the state of Iowa. What God can do for her, He can do for you!

I Found The Truth
Our purpose at I Found the Truth is to give every Muslim a chance to hear the Gospel through the stories of former Muslims who have risked it all to find the Truth.
