Summary
SummaryIβm Ming, and in my region of China, every step I take is watched by the governmentβCCTV, phone tracking, even my neighbors might report me. π When my father discovered I was a Christian, he reported me to the authorities, and I was placed under house arrest. I couldnβt attend school, and life became dangerous. I had to leave my hometown and start over. God blessed me with a new business, but my faith cost me dearlyβmy wife and daughter were forbidden from seeing me because I chose Jesus. β€οΈ
Still, God called me to deliver Bibles to fellow believers. I knew the risk of arrest, interrogation, and imprisonment was real, but my heart burned to share the gospel. π One day, the police did arrest meβbut by Godβs grace, I avoided jail time. Now I live even more cautiously, hiding my Bible and moving in the shadows. Despite the fear, Godβs Spirit gives me courage.
Open Doors partners visit me regularly, offering prayer, encouragement, and practical help. I feel their love, and I know God is with me. But my back pain makes carrying heavy loads of Bibles harder, and I still grieve the distance from my wife and daughter. In the loneliness, I cling to Godβs promise of peace and provision. Please pray that God would strengthen me, heal my back, and heal my family relationships. πβ€οΈ
Mingβs* every step is watched by the Chinese government, through CCTV, regular check-ups and even phone tracking. But that hasnβt stopped Ming from smuggling Bibles and leading discipleship groups.
