Summary

My name is Carol. I’ve suffered from hearing loss for many yearsβ€”so long that I can’t even remember when I last heard clearly. I came to Bethel for the Soaring Together conference, and during one of the last sessions, a wonderful lady named Donna began praying for me. At first, I was hesitant about having another person pray for me, but as Donna continued, she gently placed her hand over my right ear. Despite my initial struggles with relying on my hearing aids, something extraordinary happened. As Donna prayed, I began to feel a distinct, almost like a β€œboom” sensation in my ear, and then my hearing improved dramatically. I could suddenly hear not only Donna’s voice and Chris speaking, but also the conversations of those behind meβ€”a breakthrough that left me both amazed and deeply grateful. I truly believe that only God could have restored my hearing in such a miraculous way.
