SummaryI grew up in Thorold, Ontario, always haunted by fear and even strange spiritual attacks as a child 😨. When my mom died of cancer, I felt abandoned by God and sank into depression, anxiety, and self-harm during my university years. I dropped out, chased empty thrills, and numbed myself with alcohol 🍻. In 2009, a chance job fair led me to work at McMaster’s hospitality services in Hamilton, where my coworker Paul shared the gospel with me. Though skeptical at first, joining his Bible study introduced me to Jesus’s unconditional love ❀️. That fall, I was baptized, and since then my fear, panic attacks, and self-harm addiction have vanished. Now I’m free, confident in who I am, and committed to helping other women discover their worth in Christ πŸ™Œ.
