Although I initially believed God was calling me to the priesthood, burnout led me back to Melbourne, where I discovered my true calling was marriage. Under moonlight in a spot overlooking the bay, I asked Julie to marry meβ€”and she said yes! πŸ’• We dedicated our lives to God, traveled through Israel by bicycle, and soon welcomed our son, Ignatius. Yet I fell into a computer‐game addiction, so I retrained as a teacher to serve God through education. I founded the Mayo Mission Action Youth Organization, empowering students to use their talents for Christ. When my brother battled cancer, I walked with him through prayer, rosary, and deliveranceβ€”watching God’s mercy bring him back into the faith, even through exorcism πŸ™βœ¨. A year later, during his final days, we witnessed divine signs: the timing of his death in the β€œ3:00 hour,” friends encountering God at his funeral, and the intercession of the children of Fatima πŸ™πŸ•ŠοΈ. Now, I teach at a Catholic college, run youth retreats, and live knowing that no mistake can separate me from God’s loveβ€”a love that reroutes me home every time I stray πŸš€β€οΈ. That is the power of surrender.”
