I’m Vanessa, and this is how God carried me from a place of depression, shame, and toxic soul ties into true freedom and self‑worth. In MayΒ 2015 I made a covenant to remain abstinent until marriage, and despite flunking out of college and a broken financial dependence, God gave me His peace and joy. Working at ShakeΒ Shack on just $200 a week, I learned to love myself as God designed me, reading the Bible faithfully even when my tank ran on empty. When a visiting pastor invited us to sow a $50 seed, I gave my last $20β€”and he led the congregation to bless me in return. I humbled myself washing dishes at work, rejected a $20,000 offer tied to past sin, and watched God open the door to a steady office job. InΒ 2020 painful losses surfaced old soul ties, and through prayer, fasting, and deliverance against generational strongholds, God exposed and healed deep wounds. Now I walk in identity and worth in Christ, ready for the next season, free from bondage, and eager to share hope with anyone stuck in darkness.
