Summary
Summary“I grew up splitting my life into neat boxes—school, work, social, and my spiritual life relegated to Sundays only. When I moved from the Philippines to Toronto in 2009, I realized I missed church, worship, and community more than I’d admitted. Finding FAO Downtown Church rekindled my faith, but my five-year relationship with a boyfriend who didn’t share my passion for Jesus left me at a crossroads. Through persistent prayer, God led me to Matthew 16:24–25, calling me to deny my ambitions, take up my cross, and follow Him. Though letting go of my plans and that relationship shocked everyone, I felt God’s comfort and guidance draw me closer each day. On August 14, 2013, I was baptized—my happiest, most peaceful moment—marking the end of compartmentalized faith and the beginning of a surrendered, whole-life devotion to Jesus. 🙌✨”
A testimony of how Jesus changed Cree from a compartmentalized Christian into a full-fledged follower of Christ.
