We married quickly, but I was still broken and strayed into an affair when I felt worthless. Driving home drunk one night, God spoke to me so clearly: β€œStraighten up or I’m taking you out of this world.” Suddenly I was stone-cold sober, and I ran from that truck knowing He meant business. When Scotty confronted meβ€”standing with arms outstretched like Jesus on the crossβ€”I saw God’s forgiveness reflected in human form. In that moment, I finally felt truly loved and knew my sins had placed Jesus there for me.
