Summary

SummaryI lived in constant fearβ€”every distant shot felt like the end was coming. 😒 Three times our village was engulfed by terrorists: homes burned, animals killed, and lives forever changed. My children’s feet swelled from walking barefoot through the bush, hungry and terrified. 🌳 At dawn we reached Bozanga, then pressed on to the capital, Ouagadougou. There, the local church embraced us with love, tears, and the Word of God. πŸ™ They fed us, gave us money, and reminded us that trials come but God makes a way. Now, despite loss and hardship, we cling to His promise that He will turn our pain into joy. πŸŽ‰

In Burkina Faso, almost two million people like Fati* are displaced from their homes because of increasing Islamic extremism. Fati and her family have found refuge in Ouagadougou and are being supported by the local church.
