Iโ€™m Debbie and Iโ€™m sharing the testimony of my son, Chris, whose life was dramatically rescued through supernatural intervention. On Wednesday, December 6, 2005, while I was at work, I received repeated, frantic phone calls from Chris. At first, I assumed it was a poor connection, but when he finally came on the line, his desperate crying and the sound of wind over the phone confirmed that something was terribly wrong. I pleaded with him to pull over and tell me where he was, and through my frantic effortsโ€”including calling his bossโ€”I learned he was en route to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. In that terrifying moment, when Chrisโ€™s distress met the silence of a malfunctioning phone line, I knew that God was at work. An angelic intervention was evident when a mysterious man with long white hair and a white beard appeared to provide the help Chris so desperately needed. That rescue was nothing short of a creative miracle that not only saved his life but also reinforced my faith in the power of prayer and Godโ€™s loving protection.

All that we do in this life comes back to our God-given purpose which is to serve and glorify God (which is truly OPPORTUNITY!) – making Him FIRST in our life daily if we’re wise. The money and assets we accumulate (if not used to help reach lost souls to Christ), the fame and power we’ve attained or seek to attain – all of the things of this nature will one day pass away, but those lives we help bring to Jesus Christ and disciple will last for ETERNITY, and we will be rewarded for the part we helped play by impacting those lives … for ETERNITY.
