Summary
SummaryI grew up treating faith like a holiday ritual, happy to skip church after Christmas Eve. πβοΈ Film school in Southern California was my seminaryβcinema was my god. But meeting a South Korean pastor who adopted twenty disabled orphans shattered my decorative faith. ππΆ His life showed me Godβs real power to transform. One night, overwhelmed by a simple sermon on the cross, I wept and surrendered my pornography addiction to Jesus. ππ Then my wife alerted me on our honeymoon to the Charleston shootingβnine fellow believers dying in a Bible study. Their families, in the courtroom, forgave the shooter and even invited him to Christ. That act of grace compelled me to step into the project. π₯β€οΈ Today I use filmβmy artβto tell Godβs story of redemption, from my own brokenness to the miracle of forgiveness in Emanuel.
