Through surgeries, radiation, and heartbreaking days, we saw God’s faithfulnessβ€”allowing Ethan to travel to the Holy Land, sustaining him in palliative care, and using even his funeral wake as an evangelistic moment with President Duterte present. Though we lost him on September 25, 2019, our sorrow turned to a monument of grace, and Philippians 1:12 reminds us that even trials advance the Gospel.
