Summary“I grew up in a devout Hindu family back in India—praising many gods and attending temple services, yet I felt a deep emptiness. One day, my Catholic friends gave me a picture of Jesus, and it brought an inexplicable peace to my heart. I secretly kept that picture under my pillow, and soon I began dreaming of Jesus walking with me, talking to me like a dear friend. 💖

In year 8, I discovered a blue-bound New Testament and hid both the Bible and Jesus’s picture under my pillow. Whenever I read those verses or gazed at His image, joy overflowed in my heart. One summer, I convinced my dad to let me attend a retreat where I witnessed people receiving Holy Communion; I longed to know that same Jesus. Meanwhile, my father battled alcoholism, and on March 25, 1995, I sensed in my spirit something terrible would happen. That day, he collapsed and passed away—my world shattered, yet Jesus’s presence strengthened me through my grief. 😢🙏

I wanted to escape my sorrow, so when an opportunity arose to study nursing at All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Delhi, I leaped at it—even though I had no certificates initially. God miraculously opened the doors, and I completed my nursing degree. During that time, I joined a rosary group and felt Mother Mary’s love, but my heart yearned for Jesus above all. One night, as I lay alone in my room after retreat prayers, a powerful surge of the Holy Spirit coursed through me; tears streamed down my face as I declared, ‘Jesus, You are my only living God!’ That very moment, I accepted Him as my Savior. ✝️

Years later, my brother arranged a marriage proposal with a family who’d also embraced Christ. Between November 20–27, 2003, I received all five sacraments—an overwhelming, beautiful week of encountering God’s faithfulness. Though only a few relatives attended our church wedding, I knew God was turning every challenge into victory. In 2004, my husband and I moved to Sydney, Australia, and I actively served in Jesus Youth—among prayer meetings, retreats, and family gatherings—sharing Christ’s love wherever I went. 🌍

In 2019, during a Shalom Retreat, I fell under the power of the Holy Spirit, and all doubts evaporated. Recently, my family faced a financial crisis and feared losing our home. One night, I awoke to a thunderous voice saying, ‘Do not fear, do not fear, do not fear.’ I knew it was God speaking, reminding me of His unending provision. Even now, as I juggle motherhood with four children, I remain faithful—trusting that every trial forms me and that He walks with me each step. 🙌❤️”
