Summary

I loved my childhood—fishing with Dad and feeling like his shadow 🎣. But when his alcoholism surfaced, I reacted with anger and hurt words 💔. One day he just left, and for three years I nursed deep resentment 😡. Then someone invited me back to our childhood church, and at the altar I prayed a simple, sincere prayer to receive Jesus 🙏. Suddenly I longed to see my dad and poured out my heart in a letter ✉️. When I arrived—nervous, bus-tired—he looked me in the eye and said, ‘I forgive you.’ Then he asked, ‘Will you forgive me?’ We hugged for the first time as a family, and I felt God’s amazing redemption fill my soul ❤️.
