Growing up on Chicago’s South Side, rage and revenge felt natural, yet my mama’s prayers and a battered King James Bible kept whispering “be cool.” Fame exploded with Rocky III and The A-Team, but anger still stalked me. Jesus met me in that battle: He taught me to forgive, swap vengeance for compassion, and turn celebrity into a megaphone for hope. He carried me through T-cell lymphoma, through critics who told me to “talk less about Jesus,” and into prisons where I now share freedom with inmates. Every chain that fell off me proves one thing: God blesses us so we can bless others—and THAT is true strength. 🙌🏽🔥
