My name is Andrew Chalmers, and my life was once consumed by heroin and a path of self-destruction. I became addicted at a very young age, and for many years, drugs ruled my existence until something unexpected happenedโ€”my dad stepped in in a way I never could have imagined. His intervention, along with the guidance of a recovery program, brought me face-to-face with the truth of Godโ€™s love. I eventually reached a point where I had to choose between that destructive life and surrendering to Jesus. Through a powerful process of transformation, prayer, and the relentless love of God, I found redemption and a new beginning. Today, I share my story so that others who are struggling may see that no matter how deep the darkness, Godโ€™s love can bring light, healing, and restoration.
