Hi, I’m Jennifer. My testimony is the story of how I fell into legalism for a time and then discovered the full truth of the simple gospel. For months I embraced additional doctrinesβ€”covering my hair, wearing skirts, keeping the sabbath, and adhering to a sacred name movementβ€”but deep inside I always felt empty and that something was missing. I wrestled with my faith, cried out to God, and eventually experienced a life-changing revelation. God made it clear that true salvation is found in Jesus alone and not in piling on extra rituals. When I finally let go of trying to add to my own righteousness, I experienced true freedom that not only transformed my life but also changed my family’s perspective as they began to see the genuine fruit of a relationship with Jesus.

It’s been a journey for Jennifer to come to the full truth of the simple gospel. She has been in legalism for a couple months, and the Lord opened her eyes to see that it is not about having a religion, but a relationship with God. Jennifer was the first in her family to come out of it and see that the fruit of what they were initially doing wasn’t beneficial at all. Later her family saw the change and fruit she bore which changed their perspective in they way they viewed things in the Bible.
