Summary“I was on top of the world—ministering alongside Randy, writing in my journal wondering, ‘Can life get any better?’ Then January 13, 2003, the FBI and IRS knocked on our door. Within months, Randy had a stroke and spiraled into prescription drugs and heroin, and my heart shattered as I watched him suffer 😢. My son’s secret crack addiction and my daughter’s cancer diagnosis plunged me into darkness. I lost thirty pounds, and praying felt impossible. Yet in my weakest moment, God spoke: ‘Name three things you’re grateful for.’ With tears and sarcasm I whispered, ‘My kids’ laughter… the sunrise… I can still see.’ In that moment, faith broke through my despair. I realized God was with me, giving me new eyes to see and a new day to fight forward ☀️🙏.”
