Prayed for twice, still in pain. Apostle Mark tells him he is healed and walks away. Then SUDDENLY HEALED! Darren, a former American footballer, had endured years of chronic pain from a twisted pelvis, a right hip injury, arthritis in his lower back, and joint degeneration. The physical toll from years on the field had left him in daily pain. He was awaiting hip surgery and relied heavily on a support strap to manage everyday tasks. This strap, worn tightly around his waist to support his adductors and glutes, became a daily necessity—put on first thing in the morning and taken off only for sleep or showering.

At the Peterborough Revival, Darren was located by Apostle Mark through a word of knowledge. When he was prayed for, Darren admitted he didn’t feel anything immediately. Still, he stood in faith, trusting that God would heal him. Apostle Mark reminded him that healing is by faith, not feelings.

Then something remarkable happened.

While seated, someone behind Darren said something, and he turned around instinctively. In that moment, he realized he had moved freely—without needing to shift his pelvis or brace himself. It was something he hadn’t been able to do in over six months.

Stunned, Darren stood up and began to test his body. He moved his pelvis, walked without limping, and even ran—pain-free. Just hours earlier, he had entered the room with a visible limp, leaning heavily to one side to compensate for the pain. Now, that limp was completely gone.

Removing his support strap, Darren explained that he had worn it daily for two months. But now, he no longer needed it. His body was healed.

With a grateful heart, Darren said, “I’ve had a lot of success in life, but there are areas where I’ve fallen badly. I want to turn that around.” Apostle Mark encouraged him, saying that the same Jesus who healed him would also restore every other area of his life—not by Darren’s own efforts, but by grace.

Darren left that night completely free from pain, walking tall and filled with faith for the future.

Praise the Lord—Jesus Christ healed him!
