SummaryI’m Matt 😊. I left my small Indiana hometown for a carefree Miami beach lifeβ€”parties, Cuban food, and funβ€”but beneath the sun and surf I felt hollow and lost. Four years of self-gratification only deepened my emptiness. In spring ’97 I returned to college at FIU’s South Campus and, during a study break, Kelly invited me to a Bible talk. Hearing Jesus offer β€œliving water” hit me hard: I saw their hope and knew mine was gone. Two weeks later I surrendered, studied Scripture, and on April 27, 1997, I was baptized into Christβ€”forever filled by His living water πŸ™Œ.

A trip to Miami eventually led me to move down there.

I quickly fell into a rhythm and lifestyle that left me shallow and empty. Little did I know , I followed the well disguised voice of satan on a path to nowhere.

Life in the world on the streets began to wear me down. With little hope and direction, I decided it was time to go back to school.

A simple invite to a bible talk on campus helped me understand that fulfillment I’d been looking could only be found in God!
