Summary
SummaryI was the first person in my remote village in northern Vietnam to follow Christ. When my husband was pressured to force me to deny Jesus, he beat me fiercely. My relatives and local authorities threatened my children and my life, demanding that I renounce my faith or be cast out. After my divorce, they ordered me to leave the only home I knew. Yet I have found Jesus, and there is no turning back! ππποΈ
Chu* was the first Christian in her remote village in northern Vietnam.
Her story represents the persecution that many experience today in Vietnam. It can come from the hands of close family, prompted by village leaders who, in turn, are now pressured by the communist government. The goal is to snuff out Christianity. Our sister Chu shares her difficult story and asks for our prayers.
