SummaryIβm Anna, a single mom with my family back in Mississippi, and I was longing for a place to belong. I joined a small group at Hope Community Church in Raleigh, NC, because I knew church family could become real friends and support when life gets hard. π When I felt Godβs call, I cut back my work hours to serve at The Healing Place, a rehab for drug and alcohol addiction. I prayed, and when I was certain thatβs where He wanted me, I said βyes.β π We started with six people, and now around 20 of them come to church every week. Last November, 13 decided to be baptizedβseeing God break chains and bring new life is incredible! Every day I get texts saying βlove youβ and βhave a great day,β and Iβm more stable and joyful than I was a year ago. That love flows both waysβI touch their lives as much as they touch mine. β€οΈ
