SummaryI’m Anna, a single mom with my family back in Mississippi, and I was longing for a place to belong. I joined a small group at Hope Community Church in Raleigh, NC, because I knew church family could become real friends and support when life gets hard. 😌 When I felt God’s call, I cut back my work hours to serve at The Healing Place, a rehab for drug and alcohol addiction. I prayed, and when I was certain that’s where He wanted me, I said “yes.” 🙏 We started with six people, and now around 20 of them come to church every week. Last November, 13 decided to be baptized—seeing God break chains and bring new life is incredible! Every day I get texts saying “love you” and “have a great day,” and I’m more stable and joyful than I was a year ago. That love flows both ways—I touch their lives as much as they touch mine. ❤️
