Summary

My name is Cathy, and I grew up in a devout Italian-Catholic family where traditions were everything. I loved my parents and siblings dearly, but my heart felt empty and I longed to experience God personally. After marrying young, I heard the Lord’s voice telling me to move to Californiaβ€”an unthinkable step away from my close-knit family. Yet, I obeyed, even though I didn’t fully understand what was happening. Not long after, my husband got radically saved while listening to pastors on the radio. Still, I struggled with loneliness, depression, and confusion until I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Suddenly, the Word of God became alive, and I felt the Father’s love in a life-changing way.

Over time, my family faced intense spiritual attacksβ€”my children rebelled, got involved with destructive influences, and one even fell into meth addiction. Though it broke my heart, I refused to let go of God’s promises. Through daily prayer, fasting, and learning the power of deliverance, I stood in the gap for them. It took years, tears, and unwavering faith, but I witnessed miracles: generational curses being broken and my kids gradually returning to the Lord.

In the midst of these trials, God called me to start a prayer meeting that eventually grew into a church, House of Glory. Despite feeling unqualified and worried about others’ opinions, I took that leap of faith. Now, I see miraculous healings, deliverances, and people encountering the Holy Spirit in tangible ways. I share my testimony to show that no matter how deep the darkness or intense the struggle, Jesus’ love and power are greater. He turned my despair into a joyful calling, and He can do the same for anyone willing to surrender everything to Him.
