I am Samim, a 25-year-old trained pharmacist from Kabul, Afghanistan, who spent years questioning my Islamic faith as I witnessed the harsh realities of a brutal regime. Through an unexpected encounter via a Christian Facebook page, I received a digital Bible that changed everything. As I studied God’s Word, I realized Jesus is the true Son of Godβ€”a revelation that set my heart ablaze even in the face of imminent persecution by the Taliban. When the threats grew too dangerous, I had to flee first to Pakistan and eventually found refuge in Brazil. Though my journey is fraught with hardship and the constant threat of death for my newfound faith, I now live a transformed life empowered by Christ’s love. My testimony is a testament to the resilience that faith can inspire even under the most extreme adversity.
