SummaryI’m Kristopher McClendon, and before I met Christ I was raised “good”—church, college, a degree—but I felt empty and followed my flesh into the homosexual lifestyle at 17, hiding it from everyone 🎭. From 17 to 30, I became promiscuous, addicted to alcohol and drugs, lost my corporate job, faced criminal charges and a DUI, and even jail time 😔. At rock bottom in 2014, my cousin’s wife invited me to her church. There, God opened my eyes, and at the altar I was filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke in tongues 🔥. Gradually He delivered me—foul language, drinking, smoking, even drag performance were broken off. One decisive moment, I packed up my reminders of that life and threw them away 🚧. Since then I’ve walked with Jesus for eight years, learning that temptation never changes but He always provides a way of escape 🙌.
