SummaryI grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, steeped in Catholic routine yet lacking a real relationship with Jesus. 🏈 As a high-school football player, I tasted the applause of conditional love, believing I earned affection through performance. By 27, I’d bought my own air-filtration business, riding a wave of success—only to be brought low by 9/11’s aftermath and the anthrax attacks that challenged everything I built. 💼 Then tragedy struck: I lost my wife to alcoholism, my business partnership fell apart, and I watched my wealth evaporate. In March 2006, kneeling in desperation, I cried, “I can’t do this alone anymore,” and felt the Lord’s presence speak into my heart: “You are not alone.” That moment rocked my world, flooding me with divine peace and unconditional love. From that altar of brokenness, I soaked in the sacraments, joined a men’s fellowship for authentic brotherhood, and answered God’s call. ✉️ In 2012, on a Feast of Saint Mark, an email invited me into full-time ministry. Nine years later, I serve as Vice President of Evangelization and Outreach at Franciscan University of Steubenville, spreading the promise of God’s unwavering love. 🙏
