Summary

SummaryI grew up feeling abandoned—my mother left, and my stepmother’s love vanished once her own child arrived 😢. By my late teens I was defensive and self-reliant, joining the armed forces to escape the pain. During army training a brother persistently invited me to church; one Palm Sunday I finally went and felt the Holy Spirit’s peace wash over me ✨. Over time I grew calmer and more forgiving. Yet without follow-up, I backslid for a decade. In 2000 God sent a stranger to bring my wife and me back to faith; we both rededicated our lives and were baptized together. He restored our marriage and drew my family into His love ❤️. Today, despite Parkinson’s and arthritis, I serve as a cell leader and worshipper, trusting in His strength and holding fast to the hope in Christ 🙏.
