Summary“I’m Glenda Henriquez, born and raised in New York City but now living in Barrie, Ontario. Growing up in a Catholic family that never really practiced faith, I felt emptiness and loneliness—especially during my parents’ constant fighting. After my husband moved to Canada, I sank into a deep depression and even attempted suicide. In the hospital, my grandma Maria Betsabe began praying with me and gave me my first Bible. Through her persistent prayer and introducing me to Christ, I discovered real faith, a listening God, and a community that welcomed me. Now, even in hardships, I know I’m never alone. Baptism at Connexus Church has given me new hope, happiness, and purpose in life! 🙏❤️✨”
