Summary

I grew up surrounded by church but never truly knew Jesus until my life was shattered by an 8‐year toxic relationship filled with emotional, physical, and verbal abuse. I stayed in that relationship because I longed for love and validation, even as I suffered assault and manipulation. Over time, the pain and broken trust became unbearable. Through my parents’ fervent prayers and the gentle intervention of a caring church community, I began to realize that the love I had been chasing was not from man but from Jesus. In my darkest momentsβ€”when my daughter’s safety and my own identity were at stakeβ€”I cried out to God. That is when I experienced a powerful transformation: the burden of abuse and toxic patterns was lifted, and I found true freedom and restoration in Christ. Today, I share my testimony to encourage others struggling in similar broken relationships to seek the healing and true love that only Jesus can provide.
