SummaryHi, I’m Raymond. 😊 I grew up coming to The Way in San Bernardino, California, and met Pastor Gabriel at 12. For years I served the church, but when I became a young adult I believed the lie that I could live apart from God. I chased pleasureβ€”parties, smoking, drinkingβ€”only to end up in depression and shame. On New Year’s Eve, I told God if I woke without a passion to serve Him, I’d end my life. The next morning I awoke hearing His voice say, β€˜I miss you, sonβ€”it’s time to come home.’ In that moment, I repented and felt His reckless love wash over me. Pastor Gabe reached out immediately and led me into a discipleship school, first in Wyoming then in Texas. There, God healed my heart and showed me my purpose. Three months later, I led a mission team to the Dominican Republic, helping people find freedom and healing in Jesus. Now I mentor others through Power 12, pouring into young believers just as I was poured into. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that no mistake is too great for God’s love and plan. πŸ™Œ
