My retail job at Michael Kors became a ministry as I encouraged customers beyond fashion. ๐Ÿ‘— Yet God called me higherโ€”to social work and counseling families. ๐Ÿ“– A leap of faith led me to apply to Columbia Universityโ€™s MSW program, and when I received that acceptance letter, I realized Godโ€™s plan was far greater than any label. Today, Iโ€™m pursuing a second masterโ€™s in educational leadership, living out my identity in Christ. ๐Ÿ™Œ

I was looked at as the “bad” black boy. My teachers saw me as a problem. I attended many different schools as a child and thought I’d never make it far in my academic career. I am now pursuing my 2nd master’s degree. This is my story.
