My name is Susan and this is how I found the truth. Growing up as a Muslim, I always felt as though God was angry with me and I constantly wondered where I stood on His scale. I vividly remember my first church encounter when my friend Karen invited me alongβ€”not just for the social appeal, but because something about that joyful, free worship struck a chord deep inside. I began to investigate the truth by exploring various religious texts and comparing the rigid, sorrowful rituals of the mosque to the vibrant joy of Christian worship. It wasn’t until I met my friend Shannonβ€”whose life radiated with authentic faithβ€”that I realized what I had been missing. In that decisive moment, I committed to walking with God, diving into the Bible, and embracing a transformative relationship with Jesus. Now, I live in the fulfillment of a truth that satisfies every longing of my heart.

With a devout Muslim family in close relationship to the Shah of Iran, Susan’s family fled when the Shah was exiled. Growing up with money, power, and a religious experience filled with strict rules and sorrow, Susan was left wanting. After seeing the joy in her Christian friends, she realized what she needed could only be found in Jesus.
