Hi, my name is Jason Phillips. I’m 42 years old and a follower of Jesus Christ. In January 2021, while driving and working, I experienced a profound encounter with Jesus. He spoke to me, apologized, and expressed His hurt at hearing me cry out. I cried out for deliverance, and in that moment, everything I had done made senseβ€”He was always with me, always had me. My life, once filled with pain and feelings of unlovability from a troubled childhood, was transformed. I remember my upbringing, the hardships, and how I was abandoned by those around me. That encounter led to a deep, redeeming change in me; I was baptized in a pool, and I became a new creation, finally feeling worthy of His unconditional love.
