Summary
SummaryI walked into life feeling empty and unanchored π. Raised in church as a child, I drifted away in eighth grade and dived into New Age teachingsβtarot cards, Reiki, yogaβonly to discover too late they were tied to dark forces. For six years, I was lost in witchcraft and became a functioning alcoholic, trying to fill that void with anything that brought temporary pleasure. The world around me felt dark, and I wondered if any light existed, until one night my husband and I watched **I Can Only Imagine**. Seeing an alcoholic transformed by Jesus stirred something in my heart. I began seeking, prayed earnestly, and unsubscribed from over 120 astrology and occult channels in my home. Within a week, Godβs Word ignited a fire in me ππ₯. I repented on my knees, embraced the Bible daily, and felt the helpless weight lift off my shoulders as if a new life began. Though I hadnβt set foot in a church for 30 years, I knew I needed baptismβI surrendered immediately and was submerged in water, symbolically dying to the old self. Over the past year, every day has drawn me deeper: the Holy Spirit convicts me of anger, pride, and the remnants of darkness π itβs ongoing sanctification. Now, with awe and wonder, I canβt believe I lived so long without truly knowing Jesus. Every morning I wake up grateful, craving Scripture, and yearning to tell others: there is nothingβeven witchcraftβthat can compare to the Creator who died and rose for us πβ¨.
