By Easter of 2010, I was an angry man drowning in hurtsโ€”divorce, the death of loved ones, depression, and even suicidal thoughts threatened to consume me ๐Ÿ˜”. Thatโ€™s when Celebrate Recovery began at Emmanuel Enid. Through the Step Study program, I learned to confront my unhealthy hang-ups and rely on Jesus for healing. Layer by layer, God exposed my dysfunctional thought patterns and taught me to cope with grief, depression, and the pain of a blended family ๐Ÿ’”. Over time, I rediscovered my identity in Christ. I havenโ€™t returned to my old habits. He restored my marriage ๐Ÿ’‘, healed my family relationships, and reminded me that Christ is enough.
